We do not publish a price feed. A price on its own is answered by a search engine before you ever get here. What is worth your time is what the change does to your cost per kilometre on a lane you actually run — and that needs a real road distance, which is what we hold.

The number to know this month
South African wholesale diesel rose R2.84 a litre on 7 October 2026, to R31.95 inland — the highest in our series. Over the year it is up 65.2%, against 39.9% for petrol.
