Endesha practical reading · Shippers and logistics teams managing repeat movements
An award needs a practical handover that preserves the final agreed scope. Confirm the movement reference, carrier, sites, timing, equipment and exception contacts before the operating team acts. The quotation that started the conversation may no longer describe the job.
In an illustrative movement, the shipper changes the collection slot during negotiation. Procurement agrees the new time, but dispatch receives the original RFQ. The driver reaches a closed gate and both businesses lose time despite having reached a valid commercial agreement.
Hand over the final version
- Award: parties, agreed service and relevant reference.
- Scope: cargo, actual sites, dates and equipment requirements.
- Changes: anything revised during quotation or award.
- Readiness: what the carrier and site have confirmed and what remains pending.
- Escalation: who can clarify or authorise an operating change.
- Evidence: what collection and delivery records will be required.
Acknowledge the handover with the person coordinating execution. Sending an email is not proof that the dispatcher has understood the changed slot. Ask them to confirm the next action and unresolved points.
Keep the shipper and driver perspectives aligned
The shipper may manage a programme of many movements, while the driver needs the next site and a clear instruction. Do not overload the driver with every commercial document. Provide the information their role needs, with a way to ask dispatch about ambiguity.
If a site asks for extra work, refer it through the agreed authority rather than making the driver negotiate a new price at the gate. Keep the event and decision attached to the actual movement.
Where Endesha hands over to KITE
Endesha supports shipper planning, private RFQs and awards. Awarded work is followed through execution and POD in KITE. KITE supports allocation, dispatch, active-job progress, evidence and close-out. The people involved remain responsible for a feasible brief and authorised changes.
Driver participation through Hamba is limited to assigned work. Location visibility depends on job settings and information may be delayed by devices, connectivity or updates. Agree a communication fallback rather than assuming a map replaces every handover.
Use the same discipline for an open-market load
Free LX can help find suitable large-truck B2B capacity outside the usual carrier group. Once that job is agreed, it deserves the same clear operating brief as repeat work. The quality of the handover matters more than the channel that introduced the parties.
Practical questions
What should dispatch receive after a load award?
The final agreed movement, parties, sites, timing, equipment, changed requirements, unresolved readiness points, exception contacts and required evidence.
Does Endesha replace KITE execution?
Endesha supports higher-volume shipper planning and awards. Its awarded jobs are followed through execution and proof of delivery in KITE.
