Shipping or Hauling? Two Sides of the Same Free Load Exchange

3 min read

Shipping and hauling share the same exchange. Android app pre-release. The web Load Exchange is available now.

Understand the shipper and carrier decisions in free LX and the pre-release Echo Central Android app. Choose the right role for the business task in front of you.

Echo Central practical reading · Shippers, carriers and mobile business owners

A business can need capacity for one movement and seek freight for its own truck on another. Keep the role in each job clear. The shipper describes the cargo requirement; the carrier assesses whether it can provide suitable equipment and service.

Echo Central is the separate pre-release Android app for the Kweli network, with the free Load Exchange as its initial product scope. Its documented direction distinguishes shipping and hauling according to the organisation’s roles. The live web Hub and free LX are available while it is prepared.

When your business needs a truck

Start with the movement: cargo, quantity, actual sites, dates, equipment and handling requirements. State the rate basis and relevant terms clearly. An available truck is only useful if it can carry the load and meet the collection requirement.

When responses arrive, clarify missing information before treating the lowest price as the best fit. A carrier’s record can add context but does not guarantee the outcome. The shipper still has to assess suitability and agree the work.

When your business needs freight

Start with the actual truck, place and realistic availability. Review cargo fit, route, collection window, payment terms and full-trip costs. Applying for work is not the same as an award, so do not dispatch on the strength of an application alone.

In an illustrative small business, the owner searches for a return load for its own vehicle while coordinating a different customer movement that needs extra capacity. The operating roles differ. Keep the contracting business and authority clear in each conversation.

One app does not mean unlimited authority

Business roles, membership and any required approvals still matter. A person using a company account should understand which organisation they are acting for and what they may agree. Switching a view should not be read as permission to commit another business.

Echo Central’s initial scope is the Load Exchange, rather than every paid Kweli product in one Android release. It is also separate from Echo Field Ops, which is the pre-release field-work app.

Keep the free starting point usable

LX is free for suitable large-truck B2B freight, with no Kweli commission on LX deals. Optional coordination and execution products have separate terms. A native app is an access channel, not a reason to assume loads, awards or payments are guaranteed.

Until an official release is announced, use the current web route. This article explains the two working roles and the app’s direction; it does not offer an Android download or claim a completed public launch.
